Not everyone was glued to their tv's/internet/live feeds yesterday for the 'grand event'.
In fact, there are *some* of us that don't really care for our new president and are nervous about the impending doom.
That's right.
I'm not excited about this so-called CHANGE.

haha... what impending doom?
I have to tell you the funniest thing... its a lil politicy... so my dad is a hard core republican... I go more with the issues but he hates hates hates (imagine my voice going higher) Obama and we were talking over christmas and he now hates Oprah because according to my dad she is the reason that he won! I had the hardest time keeping a straight face!
I have to say that I like obama, BUT I think that he is a politician and by the time you hit president you owe so many people favors that... its gonna be business as usual. Way to stand up for your beliefs! You go sister!
with you 100%!!!
Chelsea, I'm not sure how political you like to get on your blog, but I'd be really curious to hear some details about your fears. I know quite a few are nervous about Obama's Presidency, and I think that there are justifications for that sentiment, but I haven't run across very many that are willing to articulate their feelings in many ways much past stating that Obama's a democrat. What change are you anticipating that you think the country needs to avoid? What social factors exist right now that convince you that doom is impending? This is Mike Rutkowski by the way.
I agree with you. I honestly don't care. Everyone at work was like, "Did you watch it?!" My response? A blank stare. I should've asked, "Watch what? Nothing important or noteworthy is happening today."
