My cute friend Monique was the only one who finished hers that day. Everyone else was too indecisive {and chatty} to complete it, but that's fine by all. Visiting is half the fun.
I only got one good picture of Mo's calendar. It was already 6:30p or so by the time we decided to stop and go to dinner, so I hastily grabbed a few and two of the three were blurry; otherwise there would be many many more.
Isn't it beautiful!?
Now, you get to suffer through obscene amounts of pictures of mine. First, pictures of some of my favorites. They took the most time, therefore, they're my favorites.
And then a nice side view.
And one of the bottom.
And one of Santa. I was so proud of him. He's from an old Christmas card that my thrifting friend Brooke found at an estate sale we hurried to a few weeks ago. I scanned him in, printed him out (2x) on cardstock and then layered a few features and added glitter. I LOVE him.
And what it will look like on Christmas Day.
Wasn't that fun? We used this tutorial by Teresa McFayden as inspiration and made them our own from there.

Those are SO cute, Chelsea! I am overwhelmed by your mad skills! Would I still be able to get a stocking pattern from you? We still were with family, so I had to miss Craft Day.
very cute! love the banner across the top!
i'm a big lame-o. my oldest daughter kept harassing me about how many days until christmas, and i kept losing count... so, i broke down and made a ghetto paper chain countdown.
Oh Em Gee! I love them!! They are so pretty! I have seen quite a few posts about advent calendars on my Google Reader, and by far yours are the best. So cute!
I really want to make one, but I figure that by the time I actually get it done it'll be Christmas. I'm jealous of you!

Wow! Your and Monique's calendars turned out SO amazing! They literally look like they took weeks to make! I will have to attempt it but probably not until like the week of Christmas (because I won't have time until then). Do you still have some materials I can buy off you? Count me in on that stocking pattern as well (and if you have some left over holiday fabric). These are so much better than any I've seen!!
I know I already posted, but I literally can't stop looking at them! AMAZING job!
